| Implementing projects in post conflict environments is a great undertaking which can only be accomplished by a devoted support network, spearheaded by selfless individual initiative. The Sharbat Gula Justice Center was founded by Fareed Osman. A native of Afghanistan, Fareed was raised in the United States. Upon return to his homeland to serve with the US Military Navy SEAL Team, he was inspired to create the center to refocus the world's attention on the plight of women in the post Taliban-era in Afghanistan and regionally.
